Venue requirements for on-site training

Make sure you're set up for a successful training event

A computer for each participant

Tablets aren't suitable.

Passwords / login ids are available throughout for Moodle/Totara Learn login, network login, computer login etc.

Provide a list of any required passwords for each participant and identify passwords / login ids etc with a particular computer where necessary. Provide the trainer with the procedure users must follow if they experience difficulties.

Software requirement: Up to date web browser that is supported by the version of Moodle/Totara Learn used for the training

Additional Software requirements for all Administrator training

Microsoft Excel or Libre Office Calc.

Network connectivity from the participants’ computers to the Totara Learn/Moodle site(s) used for the training

All access information must be available at the start of the training.

Network connectivity from the trainer’s computer to the Totara/Moodle site(s) used for the training

All access information must be available at the start of the training.

Connection to projector, network and power sockets in a location that is conducive to effective facilitation of the event
